Romans 5:1-3 (NKJV) Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance
It says in John 14:27 that Jesus has given us His peace. In addition, the opening Scripture tells us that we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ because it is Jesus who has purchased, redeemed, and justified us. He has purchased our right standing with God by the shedding of His blood. Therefore, we can infuse His grace into our hearts when we are going through adversities or tribulations. He is with us and for us, and He has promised that He will enable us to persevere till the end.
Romans 8:35 (NKJV) Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
We also need to remember that nothing shall separate us from Him be it tribulation, distress, persecution, famine, nakedness, or any other form of sufferings.
Isaiah 26:3-4 (Amplified) “You will keep in perfect and constant peace the one whose mind is steadfast [that is, committed and focused on You—in both inclination and character], Because he trusts and takes refuge in You [with hope and confident expectation]. “Trust [confidently] in the Lord forever [He is your fortress, your shield, your banner], For the Lord God is an everlasting Rock [the Rock of Ages].
Nevertheless, even though peace has been given to us, there are two things that we need to do in order to keep it. First, we need to have our minds stead on God, which means to focus, to be committed, and stay with God. The other is to trust and have faith in God no matter what we are going through. We trust and have faith in the person Jesus Christ and His Word, because Jesus and His Word are One. He was the Word at the time of creation, He will honour His word, and there is power in His Word. Faith comes by hearing and hearing the Word of God, and it arises when we listen to and meditate on His Word. Overwhelming peace that surpasses all understanding will guard our hearts and our minds in Christ Jesus as we meditate on and think of His Word. While we don’t deny the facts when we listen to negative reports, we can choose to fill our minds and our hearts with the Word in order to keep our peace!

罗马书8:35 谁能使我们与基督的爱隔绝呢？难道是患难吗？是困苦吗？是逼迫吗？是饥饿吗？是赤身露体吗？是危险吗？是刀剑吗？
我们也要记住，没有什么能把我们与祂隔绝，无论是患难、困苦、逼迫、饥饿、赤身露体，或是任何其他形式的苦难。
以赛亚书26:3-4那坚心倚赖祢的 (就是坚定地专注于祢——心意和性情都忠心仰赖祢的意愿与品格)，祢必保守他十分平安，因为他倚靠祢（带着盼望和确定的信心）”。“你们当倚靠耶和华直到永远（祂是你的山寨、你的盾牌、你的旌旗），因为耶和华是永久的磐石（古老的石头）。
然而，尽管平安已经赐给了我们，但为了持守这平安，我们需要做两件事。首先我们需要将自己的心思意念定睛在神的身上，这意味着你要专注、投入、与神形影相随。另一个重要的方面是无论我们正在经历什么，都要相信并信靠耶稣基督和祂的道。因为耶稣和祂的道原为一。祂就是那创世时的道，祂将尊荣祂的话语。在祂的话语里有能力。信道来自于听道，而听道来自于神的话语。当我们聆听并默想神的话的时候，你的信心就会油然而生。当我们默想和思考神的话语时，那超越我们理解的满溢的平安会在基督耶稣里保守我们的心怀意念。当我们听到负面报道时，我们不会否认事实，但我们可以选择用祂的话语来充满我们的头脑和内心以持守我们的平安!
