John 14:27 (Amplified) Peace I leave with you; My [perfect] peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid. [Let My perfect peace calm you in every circumstance and give you courage and strength for every challenge.]
There are two kinds of peace. The kind of peace that the world offers is subject to circumstances and surroundings. It is determined by what kind of bosses we have in the office as well as changes in the economy, and it will fluctuate according to our circumstances. Normally, we will experience peace in this world if we are healthy, financially stable, and not threatened by anything beyond our control, but there will be times when we lose control owing to external factors that are beyond us. However, God has given us His peace which is different from the world’s. While the people of the world look to their circumstances to experience peace, Christians look at the person of Jesus Christ and His Word of promise.
This kind of peace that God has given to us is not subject to circumstances or the environment because it is divine in origin. It cannot be disrupted by the problems, disturbances, and difficulties of life; it will not waiver, cannot be shaken or destroyed. It is God’s will for us to have His kind of peace in our lives. In fact, it is His own peace, and that which He Himself possesses has been given to us, because all that our covenant partner possesses belongs to us, and peace is one of them. Therefore, let us draw upon His peace when we are troubled and anxious, and rest in His love and faithfulness. His peace is present even in the middle of a storm.
One question we like to ask whenever we experience any tribulation or adversity is, “Is God punishing us?”. We need to settle it in our hearts that we have peace with God. God is on our side since it is He who has justified us, and there is nothing on earth or in heaven, now or in future, that will separate us from His love, and because He loves us, He desires us to have peace. Another common question is, “Is it a spiritual attack? Shall we go into spiritual warfare?”. Even if it is spiritual warfare, because we are enforcing Jesus’ victory, there is no need to fear. Jesus has disarmed all principalities, dominion and might. He is seated on the right hand of the Father, and all believers are seated with Christ in the heavenly places far above all principalities, power, dominion and might. The devil is under Jesus’ feet, and we are the body of Christ. Therefore, we do not have the spirit of fear but of love, power, and a sound mind.

我们有神的平安
约翰福音14:27我留下平安给你们，我将我的平安赐给你们。我所赐的，不像世人所赐的。你们心里不要忧愁，也不要胆怯。让我完全的平安在任何情况下都能使你平静，给你勇气和力量迎接每一个挑战。
平安有两种。 世界所提供的那种平安受制于环境和周围的事物。这取决于我们企业里有什么样的老板和经济的变化，它会根据我们的情况而波动。通常情况下，当我们身体健康、经济稳定并且不受任何超出我们控制范围的事情的威胁时，我们就能感受到属世的平安，但人生难免会碰到因为外界我们所无法掌控的原因而失控的局面。然而，神已经将祂那不同凡响的平安赐给了我们。当世上的人依据他们的环境来感受平安时，基督徒看的却是耶稣基督和祂上的应许。
神给予我们的那种平安不受环境和周遭事物的影响，因为它是从神而来的。它不会被生活中的问题、干扰和困难所破坏；它不会放弃、不会被动摇或摧毁。这是神的旨意，希望我们在生命中拥有祂的平安。事实上，它是神自己的平安, 祂已经把自己拥有的平安给了我们，因为我们的盟约伙伴所拥有的一切都是属于我们的，而平安就是其中之一。因此，当我们感到烦恼和焦虑时，让我们汲取祂的平安。并安息在祂的爱和信实中。即使处在风暴中，神的平安也与我们同在。
每当我们遇到任何磨难或逆境时，我们喜欢问的一个问题是“这是神在惩罚我们吗？”我们需要在心里确定我们是与神和好的。神站在我们这一边，因为是祂使我们称义，无论是现在还是将来，地上或天上的任何事物都不会使我们与祂的爱隔绝。 因为祂爱我们，祂希望我们拥有平安。另一个常见的问题是“这是属灵攻击吗？我们要进入属灵的争战吗？”。即使这是一场属灵的战争，因着我们拥有耶稣的胜利，所以我们不必担心。耶稣已经将一切执政的、掌权的，有能的掳来。魔鬼是在耶稣脚下，我们是基督的身体。因此，我们所拥有的不是胆怯的心，乃是刚强、仁爱、谨守的心。
