Have you ever tried to measure something immeasurable? Like measuring the love of your parents? Or the size of your imagination?
The Bible tells us that as children of God we have the special privilege and the right to ask God anything we want. We can present our request to him and lay down all our burden and anxiety at the feet of His throne because He cares. God, our Father in Heaven cares, and He is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine.
It doesn’t mean that he will spoil us and give us a mountain of our favorite snack or fill our pockets with so much money that we could buy everything we want in the mall. No. God uses His power to work miracles within us.
He is a Holy God. Therefore, He will work within us so we can also live a holy life, with holy thoughts and desire. In his holiness, he has the power to refine our faith and redirect our path as we submit all our prayer request to Him.
He is a glorious God. In his glory, He will not allow evil to dominate our life but he will turn what people meant for evil into good. No weapons set against his church will remain. All things that God permit in our lives will work for our good as long as we choose to love and trust HIM.
It has been like this in the time of Abraham, Jacob and Isaac. It will be like this in our time and for the generation after us. He is able and he will be able forever and ever.
Prayer: Glorious God, my Heavenly Father, I thank you for your amazing love and your abundance grace. Thank you for your mercy and for encouraging me with your Word. Please help me to be confident in everything that I do today. Help me to submit to your will and be a living testimony. Protect me from evil and guide me throughout the day.
