“He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

The Bible says the joy of the Lord is my strength. There is a kind of joy that comes from the Lord. It is quite different from our natural ability to be happy. It is an inner strength that is given us by the one who is the source of every blessing. When things don’t look so good, circumstances aren’t ideal, this inner joy sustain us and gives us strength to have hope and to move on.
The Bible also declares that Jesus is coming back. Nobody knows when but everyone is encouraged to be prepared for his second coming. We must be alert, watchful and fervent in prayer.
The good news is that, at his return, there will be no more pain! No more death or mourning or crying. What a, wonderful promise! I am looking forward to his return! The God of call comfort has declared that he will wipe every tear from their eyes. Oh praise the Lord! Praise His Name!
Today we can choose to live in hope because we know that our future is in his hands. We don’t have to be desperate when we look at the situation of the world. We can focus our eyes on Jesus and be still. We can find comfort in the knowledge of Him who promises to give us strength.
Let’s start this day with a joyful heart. Let’s sing and celebrate Jesus. At his Name every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that he is Lord!
Prayer: Thank you Jesus, for waking me up this morning and for giving me a hope and a future. My thoughts are not your thoughts and my ways are not your ways. I choose to put my trust in you. Fill me with your love today. I want to experience your presence in every area of my life. Thank you, Jesus. Amen.
