2 Corinthians 9:8,10 (NJKV) And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.…Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness,
The love of money is the root of all evil, and it has caused many Christians who operate in the world’s values and principles of making money to pierce themselves with many sorrows (1 Timothy 6:10). Nonetheless, it is never too late to start making God the source of our provision and refuse to compromise with the world.
We must remember that it is God who can make all grace abound towards us, enabling us to fulfil His purpose for us on earth while being good stewards of His money. When God blesses us, he adds no sorrow with it (Proverbs 10:22).
Tithing makes God the source and provider of everything we need in life. Therefore, first and foremost, we must accept and establish this biblical truth in our lives that He is Jehovah Jireh, our Provider. Truly believing that God is the source of our provision helps us to be a steward of His money.
Grace is an enablement and an ease that comes over us. This includes the grace to be alive, the grace to cope with the pace of life, and the grace to do what we are called to do. Grace may come in many forms including favour with men, business acumen, and the ability to create wealth so that we will have the sufficiency to give and sow into His work. God’s intention is not for us to give out of lack, but out of abundance, which means after we have supplied for our family, we will have excess to give.
2 Corinthians 8:7 (NKJV) But as you abound in everything—in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in all diligence, and in your love for us—see that you abound in this grace also.
God wants us to abound in the grace for giving too. Just like the people in Corinth, we might have acquired a lot of Bible knowledge, grown in faith, and are diligent in our work, but one thing that God would like is for us to excel and abound in is the grace to give. God has given us the grace to be able to give financially for His work. Therefore, let’s cultivate a lifestyle of giving—over and above the tithe and weekly offerings.
As we begin to make God the source of our provision and practise all these biblical financial principles, we will experience God in our lives including His provision and favour. As we switch from the world’s system to God’s system of blessings and provision, we will be able to escape the corruption in the world.

贪爱金钱是万恶之源，它让许多以金钱为世界的价值观和原则运作的基督徒被许多的愁苦刺痛。
我们必须记住，神能够将一切恩典丰富地赐给我们，使我们能够实现祂在地上的目的，同时成为祂金钱的好管家。 当神祝福我们时祂不会加上忧虑（箴言10:22）。
什一奉献使神成为我们生活所需一切的源头和供应者。 因此，首先也是最重要的是，我们必须在生命中接受并确立这一圣经真理：祂是耶和华以勒，我们的供应者。 真正相信神是我们供应的来源，可以帮助我们成为祂金钱的管家。
