John 14:12-17 (NKJV) Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it. If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever—the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.
What is usually on your mind during the Christmas season? While you celebrate and enjoy Christmas, and spend quality time with friends and family members, you must never keep the message of Christmas to yourself. As a believer, you must not forget that Jesus is the reason why we celebrate Christmas and the mandate given to you before the return of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Christmas is the best time to share with others the love of God and His plan of salvation for mankind. Believers are entrusted with the message of reconciliation between the people of the world and God. You are an ambassador for Christ, especially to those that God has placed around you, so be active in doing His works! The Holy Spirit lives in you, so preach the good news of salvation to your family, friends, and neighbours, and minister in the marketplace and the greater community around you.
Jesus is mobilising every one of His believers into ministry in this passage. The entire church filled with the believers of Jesus Christ is called and mobilised to reach out to the lost. There is work to be done besides celebrating Christmas with our family and friends. God is mobilising His children to spread the Gospel and to do the work of the ministry. We read how Jesus called the twelve disciples, sent out the seventy, and mobilised the entire church in the later part of His ministry. God has entrusted the message and the ministry of reconciliation to the body of believers.
God has called every one of us to go into the world. He didn’t ask us to wait for seekers or unbelievers to walk into church on their own. Instead, He is calling, mobilising, and equipping every believer to be part of the Great Commission. Jesus is known to be walking, eating, and sharing with the lost, and He wants us to do likewise with the people whom He has placed in our midst.

耶稣是庆祝圣诞节的原因

圣诞节期间你通常在想什么？当你庆祝和享受圣诞节，与朋友和家人共度美好时光时，你决不能把圣诞节的信息只留给自己。作为一个信徒，你不能忘记耶稣是我们庆祝圣诞节的原因，也不能忘记在主耶稣基督回归之前赋予你的使命。
圣诞节是与他人分享上帝之爱以及祂拯救人类计划的最佳时机。作为信徒的我们被托付了劝世人与上帝和好的信息。你是基督的使者，尤其是对上帝安置在你周遭的人，所以要积极地做祂的工！圣灵住在你里面，去向你的家人、朋友和邻居宣讲福音的好消息吧，并在职场和你周围更大的社区中成为基督的有力见证。
在这段经文中，耶稣正在动员祂的每一个信徒去事奉。整个教堂都挤满了耶稣基督的信徒，他们被呼召并动员起来,向迷失的人宣扬福音的好消息。除了与家人和朋友一起庆祝圣诞节外，还有很多工作要做。上帝正在动员祂的孩子们传播福音,并做事奉的工作。我们读到耶稣呼召十二个门徒，派出七十个门徒,并在耶稣的事工后期动员整个教会.上帝把福音与和解的事工交托给了信徒们.
上帝已经召唤我们每个人走进世人中间。祂没有要求我们等待慕道者或非信徒自己走进教堂。相反，祂正在呼吁、动员和装备每一位信徒成为大使命的一部分。众所周知，耶稣以与失丧者同行、同席吃饭和分享而著称，祂希望我们对祂安置在我们中间的人也做同样的服事。
