Matthew 12:36-37 (NKJV) But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgement. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”
This Scripture contains an important truth. We all know that good works and good words do not save us, because salvation is by grace and nobody can earn their salvation by their works or words, so that nobody can boast. Even though salvation is a gift from God, Jesus says that you will be justified by your words, which means that what you say releases the power of your life to God either to save or to condemn you. Put simply, the authority over your life, which in this case is your eternal destiny, is through the acknowledgement by your words.
Because we are free moral agents, our words give forth the authority to God for Him to change our lives, including our eternal destiny. Therefore, we need to say what we believe in our hearts. In other words, we need to acknowledge what we believe by saying it because we are justified by the words that we speak or acknowledge. On the other hand, we can be condemned if we make a choice to reject God by what we say because there is tremendous power in what we say with our mouths.
Romans 10:9-10 (NKJV) That if you confess with your month the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
As we confess with our mouths that Jesus is our Lord and Saviour, we are saved and justified by the words that we speak in acknowledging that we believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, it is important that we acknowledge Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour personally because it affects our eternity, and nobody can do it for us. He has given us the power to confess our faith in His Lordship in our lives with our mouths as we have been given the right to govern our lives. Therefore, what we say releases the authority over our lives.
There is tremendous power found in the words that you speak, and it will set the course of your destiny. Therefore, it is vital to watch our tongue for out of it releases the authority over our life. This belief and confession of faith are the very things that will secure our salvation.

你的话语决定了你的命运
马太福音 12:36-37 我又告诉你们，凡人所说的闲话，当审判的日子，必要句句供出来。因为要凭你的话定你为义，也要凭你的话定你有罪。
这段经文中包含了一个重要的真理。我们都知道，好的行为以及好的言语不能拯救我 们，因为救赎是出于恩典，没有人能凭借自己的行为或言语赚取救赎，如此便没有人能自诩。尽管救赎是上帝的恩赐，耶稣说你将因你的言语受审判，这意味着你所说的话会把你生命的大能交给上帝，由祂来定夺你是得救还是获罪。简而言之， 你生命的权柄，在这里指的是你永恒命运的权柄，这权柄在谁手中取决于你口中的言语。

罗马书 10:9-10 你若口里认耶稣为主，心里信神叫他从死里复活，就必得救。因为人心里相信，就可以称义；口里承认，就可以得救。
当我们口中承认耶稣是我们的主和救主时，我们就因承认我们相信主耶稣基督而说的话得救和称义。因此，我们每个人都要亲口承认耶稣基督是我们的主，这是非常重要的，因为这关乎我们的永恒，并且无人能够为你代劳。祂已经赋予我们能力以口承认祂在我们生命中的主权，因为我们被赋予了掌管自己生命的权利。因此，我们 所说的言语释放出掌管生命的权柄。
你说出的话语中蕴含着巨大的力量，它将决定你命运的航向。因此，谨守口舌至关重要，因为它会释放掌管我们生命的权柄。这种信仰和信心的宣告是确保我们得救的关键。
