The below is an example of a prayer for those going through the stress of a major life crisis whose mental energy may be drained to the point where they are unable to pray for themselves.
Dear Heavenly Father, I praise you for the wonderful privilege of entering into your presence to be led by you as we intercede for…. (name). I invite the Holy Spirit to lead us and also reveal to us how to target the prayer for ………(name). I pray for ………. (name) as he/she is under tremendous pressure and stress. I ask for you to infuse grace into his/her heart to sustain him/her as he/she goes through this situation. Father, we praise you that you love…….(name) more than anyone of us therefore we lift him/her up to you in our prayers today.
Heavenly Father, Psalm 34:19 says, “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the Lord delivers him out of them all”. We claim this promise for our brother/sister………(name) that you will deliver him/her out of this affliction that he /she is facing. I pray that you will build a hedge around him/her. I pray for him/her that you will send people to help him/her as he/she deals with the issue at hand. I pray for favour with men as he/she has favour with you. I pray for your wisdom to rest upon on him/her so that he/she will deal wisely with the issues that he/she faces, because you promised us wisdom based on James 1:5 that “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.”
I stand on your promise on Isaiah 54:17 “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgement You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord”. Therefore, I believe that you will shield him/her from all the accusations and weapons thrown at him/her by the people, and the evil one’s schemes will not come into fruition or prosper. ……. (pray in tongues and listen to the Holy Spirit)
God is a just, righteous, merciful, gracious and holy God. He is always looking for someone to stand in the gap and to intercede in order for Him to act in a situation. When believers rise up to intercede and stand in the gap for the individual, church, company, family members, city and the nations, and join hands with God, we will see changes take place. God moves when we pray and intercede.

天父，我遵照祢在以赛亚书54:17所应许的:凡为攻击你造成的器械，必不利用；凡在审判时兴起用舌攻击你的，你必定他为有罪。这是耶和华仆人的产业，是他们从我所得的义。”这是耶和华说的。所以我信祢必护庇他/她，使他/她不受人所告他/她的各样罪名和兵器的害，免得那恶者的计谋得逞或亨通。……（用方言祷告，听从圣灵）…….
神是公正、公义、有怜悯、有恩典、圣洁的神。祂总是在寻找一个人站在破口中代祷，好让祂来做工。当信徒站起来代祷，为个人、教会、公司、家庭成员、城市和国家站在破口与神携手时，我们将会看到形势的变化。神在我们祷告和代祷时动工。
