1 Corinthians 2:14 (NKJV) But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
As Christians, if we want to learn how the Holy Spirit leads us or speaks to us, we must be open to learning about spiritual things and the work of the Holy Spirit. Prior to being saved, spiritual issues would have been difficult to understand because the things of the Spirit are spiritually discerned. However, after being born again and having our conscience cleansed by the blood of Jesus, we become more sensitive to the Holy Spirit and will begin to comprehend spiritual matters. We will also become increasingly conscious that God indwells us through the third person of the Godhead. To better hear the Holy Spirit, a good foundation of the Word of God is necessary; without it, we will have difficulty discerning whether what we are receiving from the Lord is accurate.
No amount of intellectual education can help our finite minds grasp the things of the Spirit of God because we need to use the spirit man to discern. This is why we must have a good balance between teaching of the Word and understanding the function of the Holy Spirit.
The spirit man longs for and loves to worship God. Our spirit is eternal, it is the “real us” at the core of our being and the Holy Spirit leads us through our spirit man.
Romans 8:14,16 (NKJV) For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God…The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God.
Scripture tells us that the Holy Spirit bears witness with our spirit, and not with our mind, that we are the children of God. We need to learn what “bearing witness in the spirit” means, because this is how the Holy Spirit guides those who have been born again. It is when we instinctively “know something on the inside” – an inward knowing – which is not received externally from our physical senses, but directly by our spirit from the Holy Spirit. It comes as an inward urge or prompting which lets us know what we should do in a particular situation or area of life. It might be an uncomfortable feeling in our spirit that we should refrain from doing something or going in a certain direction – “red light” or “yellow light”. Or it may be a good, comfortable feeling in our spirit that we should do something or go ahead in a certain direction – “green light”. It is not hearing words or a voice inside, but an inner perception, intuition or knowing that “this is it”! That is the inward witness.

圣灵内住的见证
哥林多前书2:14 然而，属血气的人不领会 神圣灵的事，反倒以为愚拙，并且不能知道，因为这些事惟有属灵的人才能看透。
作为基督徒，如果我们想了解圣灵如何带领我们或对我们说话，我们要敞开心扉愿意学习属灵的事物和圣灵的工作。在得救之前，我们可能不明白它，因为惟有属灵的人能看透。然而当我们接受基督重生后，我们会对圣灵更加敏锐，开始理解属灵的事，因为我们的良心被耶稣基督的宝血洁净。我们也将越来越意识到神通过祂位格之一的的第三位格-灵内住在我们里面。为了更好地聆听圣灵，需要有神的话语做良好的根基。否则我们就难以辨别自己从神而来的领受是否准确。
再多的脑力教育也不能帮助我们那有限的头脑去理解神属灵的事情，因为我们需要用“灵人”来辨别。这就是为什么我们必须在话语的教导和理解圣灵的功能之间保持良好的平衡。
“灵人”渴望并热爱敬拜 神。灵是永恒的，但它在灵界看起来与我们的身体完全一样；灵是真正的“我们”—我们存在的核心，圣灵正是通过这内在灵人的存在来引导我们。
罗马书 8:14,16 因为凡被神的灵引导的，都是神的儿子。 16.圣灵与我们的心同证我们是神的儿女…
经上说，圣灵与我们的灵—而不是与我们的思想–同证我们是神的儿 女。因此我们需要学习这种“在灵里的见证”，因为这是信徒重生后圣灵引导信徒的方式。这种带领就是当我们里面就是单单地知道一种内在的感知，这种知识不是来自于身体感官。 而是直接从圣灵传给我们的灵。它是一种内在的紧迫感或激励，让我们知道在生命的某种情况下或某些领域中应该做什么。 它可以是灵里 一不适感，觉得不应该做某事或不该朝着某个方向前 进，是盏“红灯”或“黄灯”。也可能是灵里一种美好、舒适的感觉，觉得我们应该做 某事或是朝着某个方向前进，是盏“绿灯”。这不是说我们会听到对话或声音，而是内在的一种感知、直觉，内在感知就是知道“对了，就是它！”这就是内在的见证。
