Proverbs 31:10: “Who can find a virtuous and capable wife? She is more precious than rubies.”
Proverbs 31 was written by King Lemuel to share messages that his mother taught him. In true motherly fashion, she addressed the noble character qualities to look for in a spouse. While marriage may not yet be on your radar, character should be. Your character determines who you’ll be, what you’ll do, and who you’ll eventually attract as a life-long partner.
The entire book of Proverbs that we’ve been reading for the past month tells us a lot about who God wants us to be. God wants you to be wise. God wants you to be loving. God wants you to pursue what is right.
Continue to allow God to transform your character into the person He intended for you to be. Keep learning. Keep growing. Keep pursuing a deep, life-giving relationship with Jesus.
