You can’t be wise without learning the truth. Otherwise, you’re just like a Florida girl speaking Spanish to a Brazilian. Let me explain. I live near Miami, which means I have a whole lot of Latino friends. I only know a little Spanish, but it’s enough to be polite to friend’s families. I met a friend’s mom at a cookout and introduced myself in Spanish because I knew she was from Brazil. Guess what? Brazilians don’t speak Spanish; they speak Portuguese.
Just like I need to pay more attention to linguistics to have better conversations, we need to pay more attention to God’s instructions to live better lives. Learn God’s truth. Apply it to your life. Grow in wisdom and feel the way God’s truth changes your life. You will be blessed.
