Joshua 1:2(NKJV) “Moses My servant is dead. Now therefore, arise, go over this Jordan, you and all this people, to the land which I am giving to them—the children of Israel.
We cannot afford to be clueless leaders when it comes to ministry, family or the business direction. We have to know what point B looks like from point A or else the entire family, church or company will be lost. The husband should discuss with the wife so that they have a 5-year,10-year or 20-year plan and constantly review the vision of the marriage and the family as it grows. Likewise, a Christian business leader must seek the Lord in order to have a clear vision and strategy of the business for the subordinates to follow. The Senior Pastor of the church must also be very clear of the vision, the strategy for growth and be sensitive to the time and season of the ministry. We will be lost in life’s wilderness or go through a desert experience for a long time until a clear direction or destination is set. If we don’t know what point B looks like then we won’t know whether we have arrived.
Joshua 1:4 (NKJV) From the wilderness and this Lebanon as far as the great river, the River Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and to the Great Sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your territory.
God gave Joshua a vision of the boundary of the Promised Land. It wasn’t just any land but a specific land. God was very specific regarding the boundaries laid out for the Promised Land. God gave very specific instructions to the Israelites regardless of whether it is in building the tabernacle, the temple or the land. Likewise, God has painted a very clear picture for us through the New Testament regarding how the abundant life looks like in our new life in Christ. He has also given a very clear picture of His church on earth. Therefore, we are to lead the family, and the church based on the vision of how the church, and the family has been portrayed to us in the Bible. It is a yardstick that we should measure our lives and the church against. Likewise, God will give every entrepreneur and businessman a clear vision of how to develop their business if they are to seek His face.
We are the living stones that makes up the temple of God of which Jesus is the cornerstone. Every church has a unique calling and mandate. We can’t simply copy and paste what other churches are doing. God will give us detailed strategy for outreach, discipleship and the overseas mission focus that will help us fulfil the mandate. Some of the outreach strategy will change based on time and seasons of the church ministry.We are enjoying the abundant life when we are growing and participating in the vision of a healthy church!

有远见地领导
约书亚记 1:2 “我的仆人摩西死了。现在你要起来，和众百姓过这约但河，往我所要赐给以色列人的地去”。
任何事工、家庭或生意，都不能承受外行的领导者。我们必须知道从A点看，B点应是什么样子，否则整个家庭、教会或公司都会失去方向。丈夫应该和妻子商量，以便他们有一个5年，10年，20年的计划，并不断随着家庭的成长复盘婚姻和家庭的愿景。同样，一个基督徒商业领袖必须寻求主，才能有一个清晰的商业愿景和战略，以供下属遵循。教会的主任牧师也必须非常清楚这个异象，教会增长的策略，并对事工的时间和季节保持敏感。我们会在很长一段时间迷失在生命的旷野中，或者体验沙漠般的经历，直到确定了一个明确的方向或目的地。如果我们不知道B点长什么样，那么我们就不知道我们是否到达。
约书亚书1:4 从旷野和这黎巴嫩，直到幼发拉底大河，赫人的全地，又到大海日落之处，都要作你们的境界。
神让约书亚看见应许之地边界的异象。它不是随便哪块土地，而是某块特定的土地。神对应许之地的界限是非常明确的。无论是建造会幕、圣殿或土地，神都会给以色列人相当明确的指示。同样地，神通过《新约》为我们描绘了一幅非常清晰的画面，告诉我们在基督里的新生命中丰盛的生命是怎样的。祂还非常清楚地描述了祂在地上的教会。因此，我们要根据圣经中勾画的教会和家庭的异象来领导家庭和教会。这是我们应该用来丈量我们的生命和教会的尺度。同样，神会给每一个企业家和商人一个清晰的愿景，如果他们要寻求祂的面，就该如何发展他们的业务。
我们是构成神圣殿的活石，耶稣就是那房角石。每个教会都有独特的呼召和使命。我们不能简单地复制和粘贴其他教会的作为。神会给我们外展、门徒训练和海外传教的详细策略，帮助我们完成使命。一些外展策略将根据教会事工的时间和季节而改变。当我们一起成长并参与一个健康教会的异象时，我们就是在享受丰盛的生命！
