Bible verse:
“So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”
One of the roles of the church is to be the light and salt of this world especially when it comes to our identity in Christ. This world is trying to make us believe that God is flexible enough to let us change His Definition of Marriage and Family unit. The truth is found in His Word when he says that he created mankind in his own image: male and female he created them.
What a privilege to bear the image of God! He is not playing hide and seek with us, he made it very clear that we should be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Just like he created this world in a certain order, God expect us to respect His values and moral laws as well as the order in which he established the family units.
Be encouraged to always use your Bible to search for God’s perspective on these topics. The Bible brings order and stability in a world filled with confusion such as homosexuality and Gender confusion. Just like the prodigal son who left his father and lived a sinful life, many people are walking away from God and fall into the LGBTQ movement.
The good news is: There is hope in Jesus! He died for the ungodly and today He is still calling us to HIM. There is power in His blood: power to heal and restore our lives. Jesus has the power to give us an answer to all the questions we have in our minds. He is the way, the truth and the life. Allow Him to reveal the TRUTH and to speak the truth over your life and the lives of your family and friends. He said it himself that “you should know the truth and the truth shall set you free”.
Seek to know the truth about homosexuality and be set free from any confusion, because you are loved by Him; the One who seats on the throne of grace.
Prayer:
Jesus, thank you for allowing me to speak to you this morning. You know me better than anyone else in this world. I lay down all my burdens and anxiety at the feet of the cross. Cleanse me Lord and purify my heart. I want to see you Lord! Help me guard my heart. Teach me to walk according to your will Lord.
