This structure of governance was given by Jethro who was Moses’ father in law. He was advised to delegate responsibilities by appointing leaders over thousands, hundreds, fifties and tens. This helped Moses not to experience burnout, and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the work.
We should be able to effectively love and serve one another with our gifts.
Commitment is a word that you either love or hate. In fact, it has become a very unpopular word in this time and age because it infringes on our personal rights, privileges and everything that entails in individualism.
We love people who are committed because it’s a good character to have in a worker or colleague. It’s an added strength to the team. We should be known for our commitment as a Christian. A committed worker does a good job and goes the extra mile. He takes ownership over the project and the task given to him. Jesus was so committed to be the ultimate sacrifice, that he bore the pain and endured the cross in order to fulfill God’s will for His life.
He did not quit halfway through the process. The disciples dropped everything that they were doing and committed themselves to the calling until they were martyred.
When someone is committed to the cause they will bear the inconvenience, the sacrifices and the time to fulfill the task at hand.
It takes character to be committed to a home church, to run with the vision of the church and submit under the authority appointed in the local church.
Amos 3:3 Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?
There is tremendous power in unity when we agree on ministry matter and walk together.

委身服事

当人委身的时候，他就会忍受一切的不方便、付出牺牲以及时间，好完成手中的任务。
委身于属灵的家，跟随教会的异象并顺服当地教会指定的权柄，才是該有的品格。
阿摩司書 3:3二人若不同心，豈能同行呢？
当我们在事工上意见一致并结伴同行时，合一就具备了无穷的力量。
