Every believer is supposed to intercede for their family members, the people, their country and its leaders, their company and the church. The word “intercede” means to act between two parties, so we are interceding for someone before God. Intercession is standing in the gap, and the prayer is specifically for another person or a city etc. God needs someone to intercede in order for Him to act, especially in an intervention.
Acts 12:5,7 (NKJV) Peter was therefore kept in prison, but constant prayer was offered to God for him by the church…. Now behold, an angel of the Lord stood by him, and a light shone in the prison; and he struck Peter on the side and raised him up, saying, “Arise quickly!” And his chains fell off his hands.
The church was praying and interceding for Peter to be released when he was being imprisoned. Intercessory prayer involves what we would like to see happen; it has a clear objective. It is always good to have Scripture to substantiate our plea during intercession. Also, there is a persistent tenacity in this form of prayer because we will pray until there is a breakthrough; this kind of prayer will take time. The likelihood of praying both in the understanding and praying in the spirit are required especially when we know that we are interceding for someone or an event. The intercessors are standing in the gap to ask God to intervene in a situation or person.
Therefore, if people are willing to pay the price to pray for the church, intercession can happen during the service or throughout the week. We should also be spending time to intercede for one another in the cell group to support one another. When we spend time to intercede, we will pray through for the person and enable them to come out of the situation. We should intercede with or without information of the situation especially when it is the Holy Spirit who moves us to pray. Picture yourself in the throne of grace, in a rested position found in Christ and be ready to intercede. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective!

在宝座前坦然无惧地代求
以西结书22:30 我在他们中间寻找一人重修墙垣，在我面前为这国站在破口防堵，使我不灭绝这国，却找不着一个。
除非我们对神的同在有信心和把握，否则很难有效地祷告。一旦我们了解了基督为我们所做的，我们就可以在安息中进入祂的同在，坦然地知道我们已被祂接纳，作为永生神的孩子，我们凭着信心祷告。
每个信徒都应该为他们的家庭成员，人民，他们的国家及其领导人，他们的公司和教会代求。 “代祷”一词的意思是在两方之间工作，因此我们是在上帝面前为某人代祷。 代祷是在站在这破口中，特地为另一个人或城市等而祷告。上帝需要有人来代祷，以便祂做出行动，，尤其是在干预的时候。

在彼得被监禁时，教会为他得到释放而祷告代求。 代祷包括我们希望看到发生的事； 它有一个明确的目标。 代祷时，用经文来辅助和证实我们的恳求总是一件好事。 同样，这种祷告形式也要恒切持久，因此我们将祷告直到突破出现。 这种祷告需要时间。 既需要在悟性中祷告又要在灵里祷告，特别是当我们知道我们正在为某人或某件事而代祷时，就需要这种可能性。 代祷者正站在破口中，要求上帝介入某事或某人。
