EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT
As an Executive Assistant at ICS you will assist the church’s daily operations and supporting its multiple ministries
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Office Administrator
- Manages the Church office day to day-to-day essentials to ensure the smooth operation of the office including but not limited to purchasing, maintenance, document processing, organizing meetings, etc.
- Track office stocks and supplies and make orders when necessary.
- Fully supports the Manager in coordinating events and delivering various tasks on a timely manner.
2. Provide any administrative support to their assigned ministry/ministries
- Scheduling/Rostering for servers to serve on Sunday service if any.
- Able to organize special events and admin preparations.
- Support ministry leader during weekly routine.
3. Support in Weekly Sunday Service Operations
- Report to Millennium Hotel on Sunday weekly by 7:15 am
- Set up at the information table and other ministry booths if any
- Ensure the information table is always available for query at all times
- Relationship building with ICS members and newcomers if they are new to ICS
- Be occasionally alert to the operation needs during the main service
4. Support church special events and quarterly seminars
- Generate communication materials such as posters and other communication graphics if needed
- Support at various areas when needed on the day of the event
- Each role and responsibility can vary depending on the events itself
5. Weekly ICS Communications/Socials
- Generate weekly ICS WeChat social posts
- Generate weekly Church bulletin
6. Fulfill any additional support from the Senior Pastor when needed
7. Be a Great team player to support other staff when needed
Qualifications:
- Have relevant experience of at least 2 years in office administrative
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task at a time and expected to work independently after training
- Good written and oral communication
- Being able to fluently communicate in both English and Chinese is preferred
- Intermediate computer and software skills are preferred
- A great team player within the office

The Expatriate Center (TEC) is a non-profit organization recognized by the Shanghai government. It hosts a variety of meaningful activities aimed at giving back to the community and promoting cultural exchange. TEC’s vision, “Building A Home Away From Home,” embodies the idea of being a blessing to the community. ICS serves as one of the ambassador centers, primarily contributing to these activities by providing volunteers to assist with the center’s needs.
MARKETING EXECUTIVE
We are looking for a driven, reliable and committed Marketing Executive to support the management of TEC’s media channels and communities. You will work closely with the Senior Marketing Executive in setting the creative direction and brand tonality for the organization. The Marketing Team is responsible for enhancing TEC’s brand exposure digital and social presence within the expatriates and Chinese returnees’ communities by leading the Execution Team in delivering high quality engagements and creative campaigns both online and offline. You will need to come up with ways to draw traffic to the brand’s platforms and the continuous growth and engagement of members within the TEC community.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Active branding of TEC across existing and new channels to increase exposure and drive recruitment
- Routine updates and push out of marketing content via brand’s digital and social media channels
- Execute and produce materials and content consistent to the brand guidelines
- Implement digital and social strategies that align with business goals
- Update and maintain a content calendar for TEC’s digital platforms (WeChat, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Website, Newsletter) regularly
- Generate and suggest a variety of original and refreshing, engaging content to draw awareness, consideration, and ultimately, drive conversion (e.g. promotions, contests)
- Content should be delivered ideally in both English and Chinese, with English as a priority
- Perform market research, monitor digital and social platform traffic metrics, and collect data to track and better understand TEC’s target audience, partners’ preferences
- Be up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications relevant to the market, especially in the context of China, and identify opportunities for brand enhancements
- Project owner for small-scale events/initiatives
- Manage the TEC digital platforms’ corresponding communities and work with the Execution Team to respond to queries or feedback in a timely manner
Qualifications:
- Spiritual maturity and a heart to outreach and serve the community
- Proven work experience as a Designer/Social/Digital Marketing Executive in China
- Prior experience in organizing events/products/services is a plus
- Excellent writing, speaking and reading abilities, in both English and Chinese (preferably a native in either language)
- Strong knowledge of the usage and management of social accounts such as WeChat, FaceBook, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok etc
- Knowledge of International and Chinese digital marketing channels, communities and platforms
- Familiar with Microsoft Office and design applications like Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
- Strong design-sense and hands-on experience with creative content curation (text, visual, video)
- Strong communication skills
- Detailed-oriented, a problem-solver and can multi-task
- Fast-learner and proactive in taking initiatives
- BSc degree in Marketing, Visual Design, Visual Communication or a relevant field

MANAGING DIRECTOR
We are looking for an experienced Managing Director to control and oversee all business operations, people and ventures. You will be the highest-ranking manager in the organisation and will be responsible for the overall success of the business.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the company’s business strategies to attain the goals of the board and shareholders
- Provide strategic advice to the board and Chairperson so that they will have accurate view of the market and the company’s future
- Prepare and implement comprehensive business plans to facilitate achievement by
- planning cost-effective operations and market development activities
- Ensure company policies and legal guidelines are communicated all the way from the top down in the company and that they are always followed
- Communicate and maintain trust relationships with shareholders, business partners and authorities
- Oversee the company’s financial performance, investments, and other business ventures
- Delegate responsibilities and supervise the work of executives providing guidance and motivation to drive maximum performance
- Read all submitted reports by lower rank managers to reward performance, prevent issues and resolve problems
- Act as the public speaker and public relations representative of the company in ways that strengthen its profile
- Analyze problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure company survival and growth
REQUIREMENTS

- Proven experience as Managing Director or other managerial position
- Demonstrable experience in developing strategic and business plans
- Thorough knowledge of market changes and forces that influence the company
- Strong understanding of corporate finance and measures of performance

- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities
