John 14:16-17 (NKJV) And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever—the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.
If we are willing to let God speak into our lives and direct our steps, He will help us navigate through life’s circumstances. The Holy Spirit has been assigned to help every believer. He helps us not just in understanding Scripture, but also imparts practical wisdom for godly living, as well as warnings of potential dangers to avoid.
The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Godhead. At the time of Creation, He was the One who brought everything into the physical realm once the Word was spoken, and it was the power of the Holy Spirit that raised Jesus Christ from the dead. He is omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent, and He has been sent to be our comforter, counsellor, helper, intercessor, advocate and strengthener.
The Holy Spirit should be very active in our life, if we would allow Him to work in and through us. In fact, He is rightly our senior partner, as we serve God with the gifts that He has given us, so that we can be conduits through which His power can flow. The person of the Holy Spirit is just as real as Jesus who physically walked on earth, the only difference being that we can’t see or touch Him. Jesus was anointed with the Holy Spirit who empowered Him to do the work of His ministry, and the same Spirit of God who gave Solomon such great wisdom resides in every believer now.
We need to know the person of the Holy Spirit if we are to be led by Him, including learning to discern how He speaks, leads, and bears witness within our heart. For example, you can be in a conversation with someone or in a work meeting, all the while listening to the prompting of the Holy Spirit. He will guide you, so that you know what to say and how to apply the practical wisdom He has given you. In such a three-way conversation, you can ask the Holy Spirit whether the other person is telling the truth and if there’s anything He wants you to know. This friendship with the Holy Spirit can only be developed through actual companionship. It is a relationship that grows as we involve Him in all aspects of our lives.
The Holy Spirit will be with you in all circumstances because He dwells in you. He is very sensitive because of His holiness. We will hear His prompting from within us, which can either be a still small voice, or an authoritative voice if He is warning us of imminent danger or unethical dealings that we must avoid.

如果我们愿意让上帝进入我们的生命并指引我们的脚步，祂就会帮助我们处理生活中的各种情况。圣灵受差遣去帮助每一位信徒，不仅在理解圣经上，也在实践智慧，敬虔度日和警告可能的危险上。
圣灵是三位一体中的第三个位格。在创世的时候，神的话语一发出，圣灵就把一切变成了物质实体。是圣灵的大能使耶稣基督从死里复活。祂无所不能，无所不知，无所不在。祂被派来做我们的安慰者、策士、保惠师、代祷者、中保、辩护者和坚固者。
如果我们容许祂通过我们在我们里面动工，祂应该在我们的生命中非常活跃。事实上，祂是我们生命中的高级伙伴与我们一同用上帝赐予我们的恩赐来事奉上帝。我们只是一个管道，让祂的力量从我们身上流淌。圣灵就如同来到地上行走的耶稣一般的真实。唯一的区别是我们看不见也摸不着圣灵。耶稣受了圣灵的膏抹，圣灵使祂有能力做事奉的工作。赐给所罗门王智慧的神的灵，现在也住在每个信徒的里面。
我们需要认识圣灵才能被圣灵引导，包括祂如何对我们说话、带领我们和作见证。例如，你可以在与某人交谈或参加商务会议时，同时聆听圣灵的提示。祂将给予你实践的智慧也指导你该说什么和做什么。在这样一个三方对话中，你可以问圣灵，这个人说的是不是真的，祂还有什么想让你知道的。这种与圣灵的友谊只能通过实际的相伴来发展。这是一种包容的关系，让祂参与到我们的生命中。
圣灵在任何情况下都会与你同在，因为祂住在你里面。祂非常敏锐，因为祂是圣洁的。因此，我们将听到祂从我们内心发出的提示，这可以是一个微少的声音，或是一个权威的声音，如果这是危险或不道德交易的危机警告。
