From the earliest chapters of the Bible, God has desired an intimate relationship with His creation (us) so we could experience the fullness of the kingdom of God. But that’s not the end of the story. Throughout history, God’s plan has been to bless His people so that they could be a blessing to the world.
Because God loves us, He wants to bless us—His people. Because God loves the world, He wants to bless the world through us—His people. That’s been God’s plan since Genesis, the first book of the Bible.
Jesus fleshed out God’s plan by laying down His life as a blessing to the world, and we should do the same. We abide in Jesus and experience His love so we can share His love with everyone around us.
