Ephesians 4:16 (NKJV) from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.
There is nothing wrong with achieving success in the marketplace if we do it God’s way and acknowledge His blessings. There is a God’s way to be successful. Of course, there are also many essential traits that we should have besides spiritual gifts and talents to set ourselves apart from the world, and one of them is being a good team player.
Nobody can take full credit for a project’s success because it is always a team effort, whether in church or at work. There are many needs in the church for us to step up and serve. It is always a body ministry. Therefore, it is a blessing when everyone offers their time, gifts, and talents to serve.
This is also applicable in the marketplace. We all want to be singled out and noticed by our bosses to have upward mobility in the company. However, it is more important that we work as one body to help the team grow and progress. In addition to being leaders who give direction and instructions, our bosses will also assess whether we are good team players.
Have you been assigned to do a group project? How do you feel if one or two of the project mates are not doing their part to contribute to the completion of the project? Are you upset, feel it is unfair, frustrated, and stressed? We should not be individualistic and selfish as believers. As Christians, we put God first and love our neighbours as ourselves. We have been taught to contribute to the church’s growth by serving with our gifts and talents.
Luke 16:10 (AMP) “He who is faithful in a very little thing is also faithful in much; and he who is dishonest in a very little thing is also dishonest in much.”
No matter where you are, you are a great asset to any team when you have a great attitude, are faithful with the little, have a spirit of excellence, and are team players. We, as believers, know that we are to give our best to our assignments just as we serve God. Together, each of us achieves more as one team for the team. Doing so honours our Lord.
Moreover, the leadership will notice our faithfulness, humility, dedication, and talent when we work as a team, especially when we actively contribute ideas and ensure the work is done to the best of our ability.
How we perform in the marketplace will allow people to know that we are different because of Christ in us. Therefore, we should cultivate a mindset of teamwork and excellence in our workplaces and ministries so that we can glorify Him.

以弗所书 4:16全身都靠祂联络得合式，百节各按各职，照着各体的功用彼此相助，便叫身体渐渐增长，在爱中建立自己。
在职场上取得成功，如果是用神的方式，并且承认祂的赐福，本身并没有错。神确实有祂的方法让人成功。当然，除了属灵的恩赐和才能之外，还有许多重要的品格能让我们与世人有所分别，其中之一就是做一个好的团队伙伴。
没有人能够为一个项目的成功独自居功，因为那总是团队的努力——无论是在教会还是在工作中。教会中有许多需要我们站出来服事的地方。教会事工永远是“身体的事工”。因此，当每一个人都愿意献上时间、恩赐和才能来服事时，这本身就是极大的祝福。
这同样适用于职场。我们都希望在公司中能被上司看见、被赏识，从而得到晋升的机会。然而，更重要的是我们能否如同一个身体一样，同心协力，让团队一同成长与进步。除了带领和下达指示之外，上司也会评估我们是否是一个好的团队伙伴。
你是否曾经被分派到小组项目中？如果其中一两位组员不尽责任、不贡献力量，你的感受会如何？会不会觉得不公平、沮丧、甚至压力很大？作为信徒，我们不应该自我中心或自私。作为基督徒，我们被教导要先把神放在首位，并且要爱人如己。我们也学习到，要借着服事、运用神所赐的恩赐和才能来建立教会。
路加福音 16:10 人在最小的事上忠心，在大事上也忠心；在最小的事上不义，在大事上也不义。
无论我们身处何处，当我们拥有良好的态度、在小事上忠心、怀着卓越的灵，并且做团队的伙伴时，我们就是团队极宝贵的资产。作为信徒，我们明白自己所做的一切都要向神交账，因此要尽心尽力完成每一项任务。合一的团队能成就更多，这样的事奉也荣耀我们的主。
此外，当我们在团队中工作时，若能积极提出想法，并确保任务尽力完成，我们的领导层也会注意到我们的忠心、谦卑、奉献和才能。
我们在职场中的表现，也会让人看见我们因着基督而有所不同。因此，我们应当在职场和事工中培养团队合作与追求卓越的心志，好让一切都能荣耀神。
