Mark 11:21-24 (NKJV) And Peter, remembering, said to Him, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree which You cursed has withered away.”So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God”. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.
The above passage contains a powerful teaching from Jesus that exhorts us to speak to the mountain. It highlights the importance of speaking directly to the mountain that stands in our way. Here, Jesus does not instruct us to simply pray about the problem or ask Jesus to intervene, but instead to exercise our authority by speaking directly to the obstacle.
As believers, we have been given the authority to run our own lives. Therefore, it is crucial that we ourselves want to have the problem removed from our lives, and by speaking to the mountain, we release it to God to act on our behalf.
In verse 22 above, Jesus emphasised the importance of having faith in God after speaking to the mountain. We must agree with God’s Word to have mountain moving faith. In the parable of the sower, Jesus cautioned us against being those who receive the word with gladness but have no roots. When tribulation or persecution arises, they stumble and lose faith. Therefore, we must believe that the mountains in our lives are not from God but from the devil (and we must ensure that they are not a result of our own actions).
Mark 4:16-17 (NKJV) These likewise are the ones sown on stony ground who, when they hear the word, immediately receive it with gladness; and they have no root in themselves, and so endure only for a time. Afterward, when tribulation or persecution arises for the word’s sake, immediately they stumble.
The tribulations and persecutions that come our way are the devil’s schemes to try and steal the word sown in our hearts by causing doubts and even deceiving us into believing that God is the source of our problems. Speaking to the mountain is our act of defense against the schemes of the enemy.
Matthew 8:5-10 records the centurion asking Jesus to speak the Word and his servant would be healed. He was convinced that Jesus’ Word carries power because He is the Son of God. Jesus marvelled at his faith and called it “great faith” because the centurion believed in the power of the word. There is power in the spoken Word of Jesus, but there is also power in the written Word when we mix faith with it!

信心与话语的结合

以上的经文蕴含着耶稣基督的一个大能的教导，祂劝勉我们对山说话。这段话强调了对挡在我们道路上的“大山”直接说话的重要性。在经文里耶稣并没有指示我们简单地就问题作个祷告或是请求耶稣基督的介入，而是通过直接对着阻碍说话来行使我们的权柄。
作为一名信徒，我们已经被赋予管理我们生活的权柄。因此至关重要的是：是我们自己希望移除生命中的问题，并通过对着“大山”说话， 将其交与上帝来代表我们采取行动。
在开篇经文22节中，耶稣强调了对山说话后要坚信上帝的重要性。我们必须同意上帝的话语才会有移山的信心。在撒种的比喻里，耶稣告诫我们不要作那种只是欢喜领受了道却没有让道在心里扎根的人。当苦难或是逼迫来临时，他们便会跌倒从而失去信心。因此我们必须坚信我们生命里的大大小小的山不是来自上帝而是来自魔鬼（我们也要必须确保这些山不是因为我们自己的行为而产生）。
马可福音 4:16-17那撒在石头地上的，就是人听了道，立刻欢喜领受；但他们心里没有根，不过是暂时的。及至为道遭了苦难，或是受了逼迫，他们便会立刻跌倒。
我们生命中的苦难和逼迫都是魔鬼的阴谋，它试图让我们心中生疑，误以为上帝是我们生活中问题的根源，以此偷走所种下的道。对着大山说话是我们对抗仇敌诡计的实际行动。
马太福音 8:5-10 记录了有一个百夫长到耶稣面前求祂的一句话来救治他的仆人。他相信耶稣的话语有无限的能力，因为祂是上帝的儿子。耶稣对百夫长的信心惊叹不已并称之为“伟大的信心”因为他坚信话语的能力。耶稣基督的话语有能力，当我们将信仰与写就的圣经结合起来时，那里同样有能力！
