“Let us not become weary in dong good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” – Galatians 6:9
How long more must I keep trying before its time for me to reap the harvest? I mean, I’ve been trying hard to keep the diligence and the discipline but I’m not even sure if I’m near to my goal! I’m tired, perhaps its time to quit?
Not just yet Trailblazers!
The Bible teaches us to continually sow wisely in all areas of our lives. This include our efforts and enthusiasm in academic learning; healthy diets, our words, our Christian values and even our action and service to those around us. All of these involves us making deliberate choice on a daily basis for what we sow, we will reap!
Just as in the natural state, every seed planted will in due season bear its fruit. When the season is not due yet, it does not mean that the plant is barren though you have not seen the fruit. Until the season is due for the plant, there will be many fruits ready for picking. We need to be patient because there is time and season for everything to come into fruition.
We have to keep our diligence and enthusiasm in our learning, in due season we will reap the fruits of our effort. Likewise for our faith, we are to continue practice the sowing and reaping principle that God has established and our lives will be enriched when we practice what we profess to believe. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest, if we do not give up!
Prayer: Dear Lord Jesus, let me find grace and strength through Christ to not give up just yet. I will draw from You each day, keep my diligence and be assured that the harvest is near. Thank You Lord for being with me, I give thanks. In Your Name I pray, Amen.
