“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” – Ephesians 2:10
Have you ever been bullied?
Maybe someone snorted names at you, shaming you for whom you are not? Saying you are not attractive, not talented, didn’t measure up, can never get anything right.
Could there have been some unexpected comments about you after you posted your best shot over Instagram, Pinterest or WeChat Moments? Comments which wounded your spirit, making you feel inferior, lousy, unworthy. Perhaps some of us might have ever been left out from lunch or for group project? Those feelings are real. They don’t sit in well. Those feelings may linger on and possibly ruin your day, completely.
Whilst you might not be able to stop others from speaking, but you can decide what you speak of yourself. The Bible tells us that you are His precious beloved, His redeemed. You are a child of the Most High God. Nasty comments of men will not stay with us if we choose to decide that the HIGHEST OPINION about how we look and live, is based on what God says about us.
Trailblazers, I want you to know that, you are God’s Masterpiece Ephesians 2:10 (NKJV) tells us, that For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
You are precious to God. The Master Craftman, the Creator of heavens and earth, loves you so much and He beautifully created you in His own image. You bear the likeness of God. You are talented in very unique way. You are His beloved and you are well favored by God.
So, let us not be define by what the world says about us. Our identity is in Jesus! Don’t acknowledge what men might say about us. When we know who we are in Jesus, we can live our life without being affected the words or remarks by people. We are secured being who we are In Christ.
Prayer: Dear Lord, I renounced all the untruthful remarks which people had said of me. I am secured because I know my identity is what Jesus said of me. I am child of the Most High and I carry His attributes and bear His image. I am God’s precious beloved. I am loved. I give thanks. In Jesus Name I commit my life, Amen.
