“On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow within them.”
– John 7: 37-38
Are you feeling a little dried up, a little overwhelmed, somewhat choke by the innumerous task on hands and expectation from self and pressure from the surroundings?
We are all God’s beloved children. We can go to Him anytime. When we commune with the Lord, out of us will “flow rivers of living water” as John 7:38 puts it. Shall we all, be a fountain through which Jesus can pour His Living Water. Let us not waver in life or become hypocritical or proud, only being aware of ourselves and live our lives. Let us not grumble or become disgruntled when facing challenges in life. As we come to the feet of our dear Father, commune and fellowship with Him, we will experience His joy! His joy can be our joy! He wants us to have His joy!
So dear friends, come and celebrate this love, this living water we can have in Jesus! Taste the sweetness of this water; taste His magnificence and His goodness! Come and receive this blessings from heavens above which God graciously gives to us.
Reflections: Write down the beautiful experiences we have with Jesus, and thank Him that He always satisfy.
Prayer: Dear Lord, Thank you that through Jesus we will not be thirsty because Your living Water flows within us. As we commune with you and drink of Your living water, we are satisfied. We give thanks. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen.
