Isaiah 14:12,14 “How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, you who weakened the nations! …. I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.’
Demons are fallen angels and not spirits of departed humans because the latter can never return to earth. Lucifer or Satan is the chief of the fallen angels. He was involved in worship of God before he fell from heaven because of pride and the desire to be like God.
Revelation 12:4,9 His tail drew a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth…. So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
Satan took one third of the angels with him when he was thrown into Earth. Their job is to deceive the world. They cannot contact the world except through possessing a body. When a person’s heart is empty without God, the demon can enter especially when they have fear, worship other idols, listen to heavy rock music, take drugs or have anything to do with darkness. Demons possess human bodies also to strike back at God.
Demons have lived for a long time and can be familiar spirits who have loitered around us from the time we were born and know our past. So, when mediums or those involved in occult practices consult these spirits, they allow the spirits to use their bodies to communicate with those who seek information and the spirits deceive and hold them in bondage as they listen to the instructions and the possible bad outcomes that could happen if they were not followed.
There is also hierarchy in the kingdom of darkness. Therefore, some religious heads say that they cannot exorcise a person because the demon spirit in that person is of a higher order than them.
Ephesians 1:21,2:2 Far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come…. in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience
Hierarchy exists as principality, power, might and dominion. Dominions over countries influence the people. In Daniel 10:12-14, the angel was sent to minister to Daniel but was stopped by the prince of the kingdom of Persia, which is a demon standing over Persia. Archangel Michael helped this angel so that he could go minister to Daniel. If the people of a nation predominantly worship a certain idol or have a certain religion, that demonic realm will have authority over it because the country as a whole will bow down to it and give it the authority to operate. So, if a person is spiritually sensitive, they may feel more oppressed in some countries more than others. But remember that it has no power over us because we belong to God.
We need to understand the demonic realm but we should also know the positional truth we have in Christ Jesus who is seated at the right hand of God and us with Him (Ephesians 1:20-23, 2:6) which is far above all principality, power, might and dominion. The demons are under Jesus’ feet and therefore are also under our feet for we are the body of Christ.

魔鬼是堕落的天使, 不是死去之人的灵魂，因为后者永远不会回到地上。路西法或者撒旦是堕落天使的首领。他曾参与敬拜神，但因骄傲并想变得如神一样而堕落。
啟 示 錄 12：4，9 他 的 尾 巴 拖 拉 着 天 上 星 辰 的 三 分 之 一 ， 摔 在 地 上 … 龙 就 站 在 那 将 要 生 产 的 妇 人 面 前 ， 等 他 生 产 之 後 ， 要 吞 吃 他 的 孩 子 。大 龙 就 是 那 古 蛇 ， 名 叫 魔 鬼 ， 又 叫 撒 但 ， 是 迷 惑 普 天 下 的 。 他 被 摔 在 地 上 ， 他 的 使 者 也 一 同 被 摔 下 去 。
当撒旦被扔到地上的时候，牠带走了三分之一的天使。牠们的工作就是要欺骗世界。只有藉着占有人身体，牠们才能接触世界。当一个人心灵没有神而空虚时，魔鬼就会进入，特别是当他害怕，敬拜偶像，听重金属音乐，吸毒或者做任何与黑暗有关的事时。魔鬼拥有人的身体也是为了与神对抗。
魔鬼已经存在了很长时间，它们可能是我们熟悉的幽灵，从我们出生时他们就在我们周围游荡，熟知我们的过去。所以，当媒介或者那些行巫术的人求问这些灵时，他们就允许这些灵用他们的身体来跟那些寻求信息的人沟通，当这些人听从他们的指示时，这些邪灵就欺骗和捆绑他们，如果他们不听从这些指示，就可能有坏结果发生。
在黑暗国度里也有等级制度。因此，一些宗教领袖说他们不能赶出人里面的邪灵，因为在那个人里面的邪灵比他们的级别高。
以 弗 所 书 1：21，2：2远 超 过 一 切 执 政 的 、 掌 权 的 、 有 能 的 、 主 治 的 ， 和 一 切 有 名 的 ； 不 但 是 今 世 的 ， 连 来 世 的 也 都 超 过 了…那 时 ， 你 们 在 其 中 行 事 为 人 ， 随 从 今 世 的 风 俗 ， 顺 服 空 中 掌 权 者 的 首 领 ， 就 是 现 今 在 悖 逆 之 子 心 中 运 行 的 邪 灵 。
在等级制度里存在着执政的 、掌权的 、有能的和主治的。主治列国的会影响百姓。但以理书10：12-14， 被差去服侍但以理的天使被波斯国的魔君阻挡，这个魔君就是掌管波斯国的。天使长米迦勒帮助了这个天使，使他能去服侍但以理。如果一个国家的百姓主要崇拜某种偶像或者拥有某种宗教，那个魔鬼领域就会对它有权柄。因为整个国家都会臣服于它，并赋予它运作的权力。所以，如果一个人灵里敏锐，他们会感到在一些国家比在其他国家受到更多压制。但记住它对我们没有任何权柄，因为我们属于神。
我们需要理解魔鬼领域但是我们应该知道我们在耶稣基督里的位分真理，祂已经坐在神的右手边，我们与祂一起。（以 弗 所 书1：20-23，2：6）远超出一切执 政 的 、 掌 权 的 、 有 能 的 、 主 治 的。魔鬼被践踏在耶稣的脚下，所以也在我们的脚下，因为我们是基督的肢体。
