CG Discussion Questions:
1. How has the recent lockdown taken a toll on you emotionally, physically or mentally, especially the relationship with your closed ones? How should your behavior towards others be like when you walk in the truth to manage your emotions?
(3 John 2-4; John 15:7-8)
2. Explain what it means for our soul to prosper and why the components of our soul (emotions, mind, will) need to be renewed. How can we work on our mental health to be away from stress, anxiety, depression or post-traumatic stress disorder during the lockdown?
(Galatians 5:16-17; Philippians 4:6-8)
3. What are the different forms of abuse and triggers to domestic violence as a result of prolonged lockdown? Discuss how we can make good use of the lockdown period by not wasting the crisis, but to readjust our priorities in life, learn to communicate and spend time with our spouse, children or loved ones, through walking in love and in the Spirit.

Praise the Lord that more than 200 families received the ICS care packages sent out by the church.

Praise God that the COVID-19 infectious numbers have dropped recently. Let us pray that the numbers will continue to decline and no infections outside the quarantine sites. Pray that the authorities will loosen the management policies as the cases declines. Pray that the exit plan from the current pandemic management will be clear and decisive.

Pray for the Christian married couples to walk in Agape love during this challenging period. Pray that we will be empathetic towards one another. May the Lord grant us the strength to cater to the need of everyone and strive to understand each other’s challenges. Help us not to be hard and difficult towards one another but extend grace and mercy.

Praise God that TEC’s delivery driver permit to carry out the deliveries have been extended. Pray for God’s protection over him as he brings much needed medicine, baby products and others urgent necessities to the families. PTL for such a ministry during such a time like this. Many people are being blessed by the services.

Pray for members not to be overly anxious about their job during this period of lockdown. Pray for the mental and emotional well-being of the people as the city continues to struggle with the being completely reopened or the return to normalcy.

Pray for Sri Lanka that the country will be able to get out of bankruptcy. Pray that the tourism sector will be revived. Pray that the churches will be a beacon of hope to the people. Pray for the well-being of the people.

Always pray for the salvation of the lost. Pray that the gospel will be preached in the nations, that the veil over the eyes of the lost will be lifted, that the Holy Spirit will convict their hearts of sin, righteousness and judgement, that they will know the love of God and open their hearts to accept Christ.
