ICS continues to minister to fellow Christians and Church members through our Praise and Worship, studying the Word of God via online sermons (both audio and video), questions and answers, and also prayer requests.

CG Discussion Questions:
1. What is the “Goliath” or huge problem/challenge in your life now, as the entire Israelite army were threatened and afraid to face the giant warrior? Discuss if you tend to focus on and be intimidated by the size of the problem rather than how great our God is on our side.
(Hebrews 11:32-34; 1 Samuel 17:26-52)
2. What sets David apart from the rest of the Israelites in terms of the perspective when facing the circumstance or challenge from Goliath? Discuss how David sees the uncircumcised Philistine in comparison to God’s chosen people where circumcision symbolizes the sign of the covenant with God.
(Genesis 17:7-11; Luke 2:21; Romans 2:29)
3. Discuss how you can speak out of faith and believe with deep conviction in your heart that God will deliver you from the situation as how David, the young shepherd boy confronted the situation/fear of the soldiers and King Saul.

Weekly Prayer Points
每周祷告事项
1. May the Church be blessed by the online worship and sermon, that they shall receive grace. We pray for God’s guidance, wisdom and strength to be upon the staff team as they prepare for the resumption of Church services in coming August.
通过网上的敬拜和讲道整个教会都能领受神的恩典，求主帮助8月份能恢复聚会和小组聚会的过程。赐下具体的智慧和力量给同工们能够好好准备。
2. We pray for those who have lost their passion and habits in worship during this difficult period, may the Lord’s Grace be infused in the brothers and sisters in Christ who congregate online with ICS. Pray that God will build a firm foundation in their hearts of worship.

4. We pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ who are going through sickness, sorrow, and difficulties in life, we also pray for those who are still waiting for work opportunities or encountering changes in the marketplace. May the Lord provide for our needs abundantly, bless us with wisdom and in strength, as we believe God’s grace is always sufficient for us!

5. Pray for God to lead all the activities administered by TEC, and their work shall be the channel of His Gospel. We pray for protection upon the participants of the 3D2N Camper Van Camp-Out event from 24 to 26 July, pray for a smooth and successful time of fellowship.

6. We ask the Lord to give strength to help our brothers and sisters in Christ, help them build a strong prayer life and ignite ICS’s passion for prayers.

7. Pray for the development of the pandemic and flood, we ask the Lord to help the affected countries to stop the spread of the virus, pray for the restoration of the world economy, businesses, public transportation be back to normalcy, as well as families to be reunited. Pray for God’s mercy to also help restore the relationship between China and the United States.

8. Pray that God will guide us in building up new churches in the nations He leads us to according to the word God has given ICS.

9. Pray for In Christ Singapore, Pastor Sandra Westerdahl, board members, church staff, volunteers and their family members. Pray that God will draw new visitors and former ICS members back to worship and serve Him.
