So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

Genesis 1:27-28 (NKJV)

CG Discussion Questions:

1. Do you live by being dictated by the soul (mind and carnal desires), the senses through the body or your feelings and what are the outcomes? Knowing that the devil is working hard to conform us to the fallen world, has your view and mind been desensitized to how the world is accepting sexuality confusion, lust after the same sex, committing fornication and adultery as norm?
(Genesis 1:27-28; 2 Peter 1:2-4)

2. Knowing that God created distinct differences between man and woman and instituted marriage between a man and a woman as a natural family unit in society, discuss how we are to guide and journey with those especially the children who struggle with gender confusion with love and from the Biblical perspective.
(Genesis 1:28; Deuteronomy 22:5)

3. In contrast to unbelievers who live based on the soul, are led by their feelings or are filled with sinful thoughts, discuss how we as Christians can walk in the Spirit to overcome the desires and temptation that come from the senses or feelings of the body, and not be subject to the realm of the soul. Godliness means not succumbing to the unnatural feelings or fleshly desires that come with gender confusion or the worldly views on sexuality, how can we help those who struggle in these matters to realign their mind and thoughts with God’s word as the weapon of the warfare?
(2 Corinthians 10:4-6)
