Genesis 3:9 (NJKV) Then the LORD God called to Adam and said to him, “Where are you?”
God’s omniscience is evident in the biblical account of Adam’s sin. Despite knowing that Adam had sinned against Him, God went in search of him because Adam was hiding from Him. He knows the states of all our beings at this present moment. Some of us have drifted away from Him, and some of us are tired of the life that we have now, or are just indifferent. Nevertheless, this account shows that God is seeking us out, because He desires to have an intimate relationship with humanity and to restore it even when it is broken.
Matthew 7:7-11 (NKJV) “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent.If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!
As God’s children, we are given the privilege of having a deep Father and child relationship with Him. Our Heavenly Father desires us to depend on Him and trust in His Agape love, but we need to respond to His unconditional love. We need to build upon the foundation of a strong and intimate relationship with God, and we need to live a life of “seeking, knocking and asking” with the Heavenly Father. The Word assures us that we will find Him and be found in Him.
Those who lack a good relationship with their earthly fathers may not find it easy to establish a close relationship with our Heavenly Father. However, we have the assurance that God is not an absent father and He will always avail Himself to us. Therefore, we must make the effort to seek Him out and spend time talking to Him, just as we would with an earthly father.
Intentionally spending quality time with God daily is crucial in building our relationship with Him. It may include making time to go on silent retreats yearly or biannually to connect more deeply with God. It is essential to carve out time to seek God daily, to have short chats with Him throughout the day, and longer conversations during special times. Through consistency and intentionality, we can strengthen our relationship with God.
God wants to walk with us daily. If we desire to spend time with our earthly parents and our children, how much more does our Heavenly Father desire to spend quality time with us?

上帝一直在找寻我们

圣经中关于亚当犯罪的记载凿凿有据地证明了上帝的无所不知。尽管知道亚当得罪了他，上帝还是去找寻他因为他躲了起来。祂知道我们此刻当下的一切光景。有的人渐行渐远离开了主，有的人厌倦了自己现有的生活或是得过且过地活着。然而，经上的这条记录表明上帝一直在寻找我们，因为祂想与人类拥有紧密的关系，甚至当这关系破裂时，祂还心心念念地要修复。
马太福音 7:7-11 “你们祈求，就给你们；寻找，就寻见；叩门，就给你们开门。因为凡祈求的就必得着，寻找的就必寻见，叩门的就给他开门。你们中间，谁有儿子求饼，反给他石头的？求鱼，反给他蛇呢？即便你不够完美都还会把好的东西送给自己的儿女，更何况你们在天上的父，岂不更会把好东西送给求他的人吗！
做为上帝的儿女，我们被赐予与天父拥有密切关系的特权。我们的天父巴不得我们依靠祂，信靠祂的圣爱，但我们需要做的是对祂那无条件的爱作出回应。我们需要与主建立起坚固而密切的关系，需要与天父建立起“寻找，叩门并祈求”的生活方式。圣经向我们保证我们终将找到祂，并在祂里面被寻见。
那些与自己世上的父亲缺乏良好关系的人或许觉得不容易与我们的天父建立关系。但是我们确信上帝不是一位缺席的父亲，祂总是愿意作我们随时的帮助。因此，我们必须努力寻求祂并花时间与祂交流，就如同与我们世间的父亲一般。
刻意地每日留出时间与上帝共处，这对建立起我们与祂之间的关系至关重要。这可以包括安排每年一次或一年两次地参加静修会，以期更深切地与主联结。每天留出时间寻求主，全天候不时地与主简短对话，或是在特殊时候与主进行长时间的交流，这些都是非常重要的。通过刻意且持之以恒的努力，我们便可以与主建立起坚固亲密的关系
上帝每天都渴望与我们同行。如果我们自己都想与我们世间的父母和孩子共度时光，那我们的天父岂不是更想与我们亲密共处？
