“The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.”

What is the first thing you do when you need to talk to your mom and dad? You call them right? You say “Mom… I need to go to the mall ” or “Dad, where is my phone? “. Usually you start your sentence by calling their name. In the same way Jesus, our Lord is near to all who call in him.
Jesus makes no exception. No matter what is the time of the day or who you are: boys or girls, men or women, young or old, the Bible says he is near to ALL!
Also, His name, Jesus is above all names. In fact, the Bible says at the Name of Jesus, very knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.
So, no matter what is the situation that you are going through now: no matter what kind of sickness, challenge, or even joyful situation… you name it! Jesus is Lord above it all. You can call on him in truth. He is near and He will save you.
Jesus also mean: Jehovah Salvation, because we all have sinned and we are all in need of salvation. Make sure that you have already made that personal decision to confess your sin. Admit your condition as sinner with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus died in the cross for you to wash away your sin. In this way you can be sure that you are saved. You will not perish in hell for eternity but live eternally with God in heaven.
Too many people ignore this important step and find themselves living outside the Will of God, away from His protection and love and under the terrible mercy of satan.
Don’t sabotage your life. Call upon Jesus and received His grace. Experience His protection, His joy, His love and His care.
Call upon the Name if the Lord and be near to Him. There’s no safer place to be in this world. Jesus the Son of the Living God has the power and the desire to live in us. He can influence our lives and turn things around. He turns our tears into joy, our mess into a message. Our testimony can be used by God to save other people around us. So, what are you waiting for? Call on Him.
Prayer: Oh Lord Jesus, I call upon your name this morning, because I know that you care. Thank you for your mercy that is new every morning. Amen
