God is a wonderful father. He wants every man, woman and child to come to him and be saved. He wants to write your name in the book of life, and to give you eternal life. Then, even if you die today, you will be saved. The book of revelation chapter 20 verse 15 says “Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.” Luke 10:20 says “However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.”
The goal of today’s devotional is that you should know, deep down in your heart, that God has accepted you. But first let’s explain some Bible truths that will change your life!
Do you know that God wants to save you from your enemy? God and you have an enemy. He is always opposed to God and his name is satan. His name means accuser. Satan wants to stop you from becoming a free, happy and stable child of God. He comes only to steal kill and destroy. But don’t worry. God knows how to handle satan. The victory has already been won by Jesus, and he has come to give you eternal life! This life is for everyone, including you.
To make this clear, tomorrow we will explain how satan got his grip upon human beings, then how you can become totally free from his power!
Prayer:
Jesus thank you for being the resurrection and the life. Teach me how to believe in everything written in the Bible. Help me to understand that you love me and that you want the best for me. Thank you for being my Lord and Savior. Delete and destroy the works of the enemy that are present in my life. I only want what comes from you Lord.
