God is a wonderful loving father. The Bible says that Adam was the “son of God” (Luke 3:38). So God’s relationship to us, descendants of Adam, is that of a father.
He does what a father does best:
He is your origin – even if not physically- and he planned that you should be born as you and not as someone else. He cares for you; he wants you to have food and clothes and to be secure. You are important to him! He considers you are worth more than other living things, and has given you dignity and the authority to rule over his creation. He loves you and is happy when you are happy. He longs to have fellowship with you every day.

Prayer: Jesus I thank you for Showing me the way, the truth and the life. God, you are a wonderful Father and I choose to praise your Holy Name. Help me remember to always put my trust in you. Thank you for creating me in a very special way. I want to know you more. I will make time to fellowship with you more and more each day.
