Pressure in life are real, let’s not deny it! Whether you are trying to catch up with time to complete an assignment deadline, or trying to cover all the topics for your next physics or mathematics exams, or maybe you are just simply trying to be as quick as you can to pack up your school bag and rush in time to catch the school bus, there is some form of pressure boiling within. How about just before a presentation to your class, a recital before your peers in school, performance in front of audiences, or perhaps the night before your final BIG paper you are unsure if the prep work done is enough to help you ace the paper and get you the highest score you need to apply to your dream college! Heard that sizzling on the hot pan?

Scripture verse tells us in Philippians 4: 6-7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.

We as believers, are called to talk to God daily. We can download our concerns and challenges we face each day to Him and seek Him for guidance. God is our Guide. God is also all-knowing. He is omnipotent! So whenever you feel anxious or pressured, the first thing you need to do, is to pray to God. We can come before God and speak to Him about every situation and present our request to God! Verse 7 goes on to tell us, “and the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts, and your minds, in Christ Jesus”! God, in His perfect wondrous ways, will in divine exchange grant you His Perfect peace. Find your peace in God.


Prayer: Dear Lord Jesus, there are so many things that are after me that I am out of breath and I almost want to call it quit! I thank you that I can find strength in Your Word. I know that when I talk to you through prayers, You hear me and You will answer me. You give me peace. I rest in You Lord. Thank You Jesus. In Your Name I pray, Amen.
