Psalms107:20 (NKJV) He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from their destructions.
Sickness is not from God. Sickness and pain weren’t part of God’s creation but came into this world after the fall of man. However, restoration of health be it a healing process or a miracle is very much dependent on God. Jesus is the Word made flesh, who walked on this earth and healed the sick. We can have faith in God instead of being fearful that sickness and pain are ways used by God to punish or discipline us. God is pleased with us since we are seen to be hidden in Christ in this world. Therefore, we are able to have faith and confidence to approach God for the healing of our bodies if we are sick.
James 5:14-16 20 (NKJV) Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.
If we are sick, confess our trespasses to one another and have our sins forgiven. We have to quickly get back into fellowship with God if we have been sinning and striving with men. We have to close the door to the devil before the toehold becomes a stronghold in the area of habitual sins.
When we are sick, we can call the elders of the church to pray over us in the name of Jesus. In the New Testament, James tells us to anoint a sick person with oil. The person anointed should consider himself set apart or consecrated for healing and should not accept anything less. The moment the sick person is anointed with oil, he should boldly reject sickness as it tries to dominate his body! He should see himself assigned for healing and restoration. Unlike Job’s friends, we are in a better position after the redemptive work of Jesus Christ to pray for one another. We also have the privilege of praying in the name of Jesus for our healing and have faith that our prayers will be answered.

疾病不是从神而来
约伯记2：7 (NKJV) 7 於 是 撒 但 从 耶 和 华 面 前 退 去 ， 击 打 约 伯 ， 使 他 从 脚 掌 到 头 顶 长 毒 疮 。
约伯的四位朋友中没有一位能够为约伯的医治作服事或作信心的祷告。当一个人相信领受神的医治时，就要作信心的祷告。约伯的朋友们却给了他关于神的错误形象，让他更受折磨。他们错误地代表神。根据他们属人的经验，传统，他们相信人一定要靠行为来赢得神的喜爱，因此遭受痛苦是神不喜悦的一个信号。他们的逻辑和结论都是错误的。
诗篇 107：20 (NKJV) 他 发 命 医 治 他 们 ， 救 他 们 脱 离 死 亡 。
疾病不是从神而来。疾病和痛苦不是神的创造而是当人堕落以后才进入这个世界的。 但是，健康的恢复是一个医治过程还是一个神迹，很大程度取决于神。 耶稣道成肉身，曾在这世上行走并医治病人。 我们可以信靠神，而不是惶惶然地认为疾病和痛苦是神用来惩罚或管束我们的方法。神喜悦我们，因为在这世上我们是被看成隐藏在基督里的。因此当我们生病时，我们能够有信心和自信来求神医治我们的身体。
雅各书 5：14-16 (NKJV) 你 们 中 间 有 病 了 的 呢 ， 他 就 该 请 教 会 的 长 老 来 ； 他 们 可 以 奉 主 的 名 用 油 抹 他 ， 为 他 祷 告 。出 於 信 心 的 祈 祷 要 救 那 病 人 ， 主 必 叫 他 起 来 ； 他 若 犯 了 罪 ， 也 必 蒙 赦 免 。所 以 你 们 要 彼 此 认 罪 ， 互 相 代 求 ， 使 你 们 可 以 得 医 治 。 义 人 祈 祷 所 发 的 力 量 是 大 有 功 效 的 。
如果我们病了，彼 此 认 罪，可蒙 赦 免。如果我们在犯罪和与人争竞时，我们必须快速回到与神的团契里。我们必须在习惯性犯罪领域里的一个小据点变成一个大营垒之前关上通往邪恶的门。
当我们病了时，我们可以请 教 会 的 长 老来奉 主 的 名祷告。在新约中，雅各告诉我们用油抹生病的人。被油抹的人应该认为他自己为了医治分别为圣，而且是不折不扣的医治。当生病的人被油抹的那一刻，他应该大胆地拒绝疾病，因为它试图主宰他的身体！他应该看他自己被指定了医治和恢复。不像约伯的朋友们，在主耶稣基督救赎的工作后，我们有更优越的地位能够为彼此祷告。我们也有幸奉主耶稣的名为医治祷告，有信心我们的祷告会蒙应允。
