Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty ~ Psalm 91:1

Do you have new expectancy for this new academic year?

Many of us might have set new goals and targets as we get (or got) our engine started. That’s fabulous! In fact, it is of utmost important that we get our priorities right! The big question is, how does your priority list looks like? How should we manage and commit our time so as to attain balance and fulfillment in life?

One fantastic way is to take reference to R.E.S.T.

R: Read

Reading the right books and contents help us increase knowledge and acquire useful information. As believers, we have the best Book to receive wisdom ~ The Bible. You will find how Scripture Verses from the Bible can encourage us and strengthen us. You can save some unnecessary extra steps or even mistakes if you take heed from the Word of Truth!

E: Elevate

Exalt God because He is Worthy! He is the maker of heavens and earth, all things are subdued to Him. As we exalt and elevate our Father, we are in this intimacy with Him and we are assured of our peace and security which can only be found in Him alone. As we exalt and elevate God, our spirit is lifted ~ how awesome can that be! Proclaim the goodness of God!

S: Sing

Make joyful sound and sing a song of freedom to the Name of The Lord! Sing unto God a new song! Sing with gratitude and with understanding! Sing about what God has done and of His beautiful love! Let us remember, how faithful God has been to us and our family, as we express ourselves through the songs of love unto Jesus!

T: Trust

Talk to God in your quiet time, through prayers, about how much you love Him and need Him. As we learn to trust in the Word of God ~ to trust God (John 1:1 says that the Word was God), we can be truly RESTED.

May this new academic year, be the best yet to be!

Prayer: Dear Lord, You are my Guide and I will R.E.S.T. in You! In Jesus Name I pray, Amen.
