Matthew 11:28-30 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
As Christians, we can either be yoked to this world, whereby we will be pierced with all kinds of sorrow because we have sold ourselves out for money and position, or be yoked with Jesus. The Bible says that we cannot serve two masters—God and money, because we will hate one and love the other.
The rich young ruler is one such example. Despite lots of riches, he was empty and unfulfilled. He sold his soul to be rich and carried lots of burdens in life yet could not find rest. On the other hand, we can learn from Jesus. Because He is 100% man and God, He can show us the way to find true rest. Jesus’ trust was fully in the Father. He came to do the Father’s will and not His own, and He was meek and humble in heart to know that He could do nothing apart from God.
We need to have a desire to do the will of the Father by seeking and constantly being yoked with Jesus. Once we know that we are in His will, it means He’ll settle whatever circumstance that we face for us, and we can rest in Him—find rest for our soul, which is in our mind and emotion.
When we choose to be yoked with Jesus and learn from Him, the yoke is easy and the burden is light. Being yoked with God also reminds us that we are in a covenant with Him and all that He has belong to us. We need to have childlike faith and simply trust in Him and not let the world’s concerns block our faith in Him. When we are yoked with Him and consecrate out lives to Him, we are walking in line with His will for us, and He hears our prayer.
When we learn from Jesus who came to magnify the glory of God, we also learn to live a life of giving because of love. Giving out of love shows the attitude of our heart. Through the giving of our tithe and free-will offering as a form of worship, we are declaring that our trust and confidence is in God and not in mammon.

找到真正的安息
马太福音 11:28-30凡劳苦担重担的人可以到我这里来，我就使你们得安息。 我心里柔和谦卑，你们当负我的轭，学我的样式；这样，你们心里就必得享安息。 因为我的轭是容易的，我的担子是轻省的。”
身为基督徒，我们或可以与这世界同负一轭，为了金钱和地位出卖了自己，被各样的愁烦刺穿；或可以与耶稣同负一轭。圣经说我们不能事奉两个主——神和财利，因为我们将恶这个、爱那个。
有钱的年轻官长就是这样一个例子。尽管他很富有，但他内心空虚，没有成就感。他为了财富出卖自己的灵魂，生活中背负着劳苦负担，却得享不到安息。另一方面，我们可以向耶稣学习。因为祂是百分之百的人与神。祂可以指示我们找到真正的安息之道。耶稣的信靠是完全在父里面。祂来是要完成父的旨意，而不是自己的，祂心里柔和谦卑，知道若没有神，什么也做不了。
我们需要渴慕遵行神的旨意，追求持续地与耶稣同负一轭。一旦我们知道我们是在祂的旨意里，这就意味着祂会为我们解决我们所面对的任何情况，我们可以在祂里面安息——为我们的灵魂找到安息之地，就是在我们的思想和情感里。
当我们选择与耶稣同负一轭，并向祂学习的时候，这轭是容易的，担子是轻省的。与神同负一轭也提醒我们是在神的盟约里，祂所有的都属于我们。我们要有孩子般的信心，单单信靠祂，不让世上的忧虑阻挡我们信靠祂。当我们与祂同负一轭，将生命分别为圣给神时，我们就行在祂的旨意里，祂也垂听我们的祷告。
当我们向那为了彰显神荣耀而来的耶稣学习时，我们也在学习因爱而奉献的生命。用爱付出展示了我们内心的态度。借着十一奉献和自愿奉献来作为一种敬拜，就是在宣告我们的信靠与确信是在神里面而不是玛门。
