Heb 13:17 Obey those who rule over you, and be submissive, for they watch out for your souls, as those who must give account. Let them do so with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for you.
God has laid a very clear foundation regarding how the church should be governed and led through the offices appointed by Him.
Eph 4:11-12 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.
Jesus is the head of the church and we are His body. Jesus is the chief Shepherd. He has many under shepherds that He has appointed in all the churches across the world. They are His pastors. The role of the Senior Pastor is to lead the church towards the mandate that God has given the local church. It is not always an easy job. It is not an easy job because there is a huge harvest but there are many reluctant workers. While we can encourage or motivate workers, it is a challenge to deal with rebellious co-workers.
We live in an era where people disrespect authority, don’t like to be told what to do, neither do they like uniformity and conformity. Therefore, when everyone chooses to do what they like, pull the church in different directions rather than what is right based on the teaching of the Bible then the church stagnates and suffers.
Therefore, you will realize that nothing good, pleasant and gracious is in an environment of divisiveness and chaos.
1 Sam 15:23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry.
The things that God has called the church to do are definitely bigger than ourselves. There should be nothing that’s done out of selfish ambition, pride or vain conceit.
Spiritual leadership means taking responsibility and initiative. It means inspiring and organizing others so that together, we reach a given goal.
No pastor is able to go it alone to fulfil the vision therefore he needs the backing of the entire church to work together with the spiritual gifts that God has given them.
We shouldn’t be doing our own things but rally behind the vision, and work with the strategy.
There will be love, joy and peace when the church is of one heart, one mind, one Spirit, one purpose, moving in the same direction and desire nothing else except to witness the fulfillment of the mandate.

希 伯 來 書 13:17你 们 要 依 从 那 些 引 导 你 们 的 ， 且 要 顺 服 ； 因 他 们 为 你 们 的 灵 魂 时 刻 儆 醒 ， 好 像 那 将 来 交 账 的 人 。 你 们 要 使 他 们 交 的 时 候 有 快 乐 ， 不 至 忧 愁 ； 若 忧 愁 就 与 你 们 无 益 了 。
该如何藉着上帝所委任的办公室来治理与带领教会，上帝已为此打下了坚实的基础。
以 弗 所 書 4:11-12他 所 赐 的 ， 有 使 徒 ， 有 先 知 ， 有 传 福 音 的 ， 有 牧 师 和 教 师 ，为 要 成 全 圣 徒 ， 各 尽 其 职 ， 建 立 基 督 的 身 体 ，
耶稣是教会的头，我们是祂的肢体。耶稣是大牧人。在祂之下还有许多牧人， 祂在世界各地的教会中所委任的。他们是祂的牧师。主任牧师的角色是带领教会朝着神赋予当地教会的使命迈进。这并不是一件容易的事。因为虽然禾场的庄稼很多，但也有很多不情不愿的工人。尽管我们可以鼓励或激励工人，但与叛逆的同工打交道却是一个挑战 。
我们生活在一个不尊重权威的时代，人们不喜欢被告知要做什么，也不喜欢统一和一致性。因此，与其按照圣经做对的事，人们却选择做他们喜爱的事，于是就把教会向不同方向拉扯，结果教会就陷入停滞，多受苦难。
于是，你就会发现在分裂和混乱的环境中，没有任何的美好，愉悦和仁慈。
撒 母 耳 記 上 15:23 悖 逆 的 罪 与 行 邪 术 的 罪 相 等 ； 顽 梗 的 罪 与 拜 虚 神 和 偶 像 的 罪 相 同 。
神呼召教会去做的事肯定比我们自己要重大。不应出于自私的野心，骄傲或虚荣的自负而做任何事情。
属灵领导力意味着承担责任和行事主动。它意味着鼓舞和组织他人，以便我们共同实现既定目标 。
没有哪一个牧师能够凭一己之力实现异象，因此他需要整个教会的支持运用上帝赐与他们的属灵恩赐协力同工。
我们不该只顾自己的事情，而应集结在愿景之后，有策略地做工。当教会一心一意，一圣灵一标杆，朝着同一方面前进，除了见证这个使命的完工外，别无他求，就会有爱，喜乐与平安。
