Judges 7:2 (NKJV) And the Lord said to Gideon, “The people who are with you are too many for Me to give the Midianites into their hands, lest Israel claim glory for itself against Me, saying, ‘My own hand has saved me.’
Although Gideon obeyed the calling to deliver the Israelites from the Midianites, God alone would get all the glory so nobody could boast. Gideon was only given 300 soldiers to overcome an enemy as numerous as locusts and whose camels were like the sand on the seashore. Moreover, God instructed Gideon and his soldiers to arm themselves with a trumpet, an empty pitcher and a torch. They then divided themselves into three companies to be stationed at different outposts of the camp in the middle of the night, but when they blew the trumpets, broke the pitchers and shouted, “The sword of the Lord and of Gideon”, the whole army of the enemies cried out and fled! All these were done by faith! They wouldn’t have experienced the deliverance of the Lord if Gideon had not responded to his calling, spoken to the Lord, believed in how He looked at him and wanted to use him to do great things!
Judges 7:13-14 (NKJV) And when Gideon had come, there was a man telling a dream to his companion. He said, “I have had a dream: To my surprise, a loaf of barley bread tumbled into the camp of Midian; it came to a tent and struck it so that it fell and overturned, and the tent collapsed.” Then his companion answered and said, “This is nothing else but the sword of Gideon the son of Joash, a man of Israel! Into his hand God has delivered Midian and the whole camp.”
Like Gideon, we also need to consecrate our lives to God and walk in His will even though we may be working in the corporate world. One important safeguard in seeking a confirmation from God regarding His will for our lives and how to deal with a situation is godly counsel. Because Gideon had a calling from God, God gave him a detailed strategy of how to take down the enemy, and then God gave one of Gideon’s men a dream which acted as a confirmation of how God was going to deliver them. Ultimately, God received all the glory because the strategy, the tools and the number of soldiers made no sense in the natural.
Similarly, our faith in God will allow us to experience how He will open streams in the desert, paths in the wilderness, favour with people, doors of opportunities, and cause strategic and creative ideas to flow. In fact, we will stand in awe and worship of God whenever it is an act of God in our lives because we will know that nobody is able to orchestrate and bring everything together unless God’s hand is in it!

在不可能中看到神的荣耀
士师记 7:2耶 和 华 对 基 甸 说 ： 跟 随 你 的 人 过 多 ， 我 不 能 将 米 甸 人 交 在 他 们 手 中 ， 免 得 以 色 列 人 向 我 夸 大 ， 说 ： 是 我 们 自 己 的 手 救 了 我 们 。
虽然基甸听从神的呼召，将以色列人从米甸人手中拯救出来，但一切的荣耀归于神，没有人可以夸口。神只给了基甸300名士兵来战胜像蝗虫一样众多的敌人，他们的骆驼多到像海边的沙子。此外，神指示基甸和他的士兵用角，空瓶和火把作好装备。然后，他们将自己分成三队，在半夜时驻扎在营地的不同哨所，但是当他们吹角，打破手中的瓶，喊叫说“耶和华和基甸的刀” 时, 敌人的军队喊叫着逃跑了！所有这些都是因着信而成就的！ 如果基甸没有回应对他的呼召，没有和主说话，不相信神是怎样看他的并且神要用他去做大事，他们将不会经历主的拯救！
士师记 7:13-14基 甸 到 了 ， 就 听 见 一 人 将 梦 告 诉 同 伴 说 ： 我 做 了 一 梦 ， 梦 见 一 个 大 麦 饼 滚 入 米 甸 营 中 ， 到 了 帐 幕 ， 将 帐 幕 撞 倒 ， 帐 幕 就 翻 转 倾 覆 了 。那 同 伴 说 ： 这 不 是 别 的 ， 乃 是 以 色 列 人 约 阿 施 的 儿 子 基 甸 的 刀 ； 神 已 将 米 甸 和 全 军 都 交 在 他 的 手 中 。
像基甸一样，即使我们可能在企业界工作，我们也需要将自己的生命分别为圣奉献给神，并按照神的旨意行事。 确认神对我们生命的旨意以及如何应对事情的一个重要保障就是敬虔的忠告。由于基甸有神的呼召，神给了他详细的策略如何战胜敌人，然后神给了基甸身边一个人一个梦，这印证了神将如何拯救他们。最终神获得了所有荣耀，因为这些战略、工具和士兵人数在自然情况下是毫无意义的。
同样，我们对神的信心将使我们能够经历祂将如何在沙漠开江河，在旷野开道路，使我们受到人们的喜爱，打开机遇之门，以及使得战略性和创造性的想法泉涌。实际上，当这是神在我们生命中的作为时，我们都会敬畏并敬拜神，因为我们知道，除非神的手在其中，否则任何人都无法安排并将这一切都汇集在一起！
